Pick Your Team (PYT) Breaks
Pick Your Team (PYT) breaks let you claim a team before the break starts, so every card pulled from that team is yours. Since some teams have bigger chase cards, prices vary – high-demand chase teams cost more, while others are a steal. Whether you’re after a massive rookie hit or a team set, PYT breaks let you call your shot.
Random Team Card Breaks
Feeling lucky? With random team card breaks, everyone pays the same price, and teams are assigned at random before the break starts. No picking, no bidding – just pure excitement.
Everyone is assigned at least one top-tier team, though, so you’ll still pull big cards and underdog sleeper hits. It’s all part of the fun!
Personal Box Breaks
Want the whole box to yourself? No problem! Personal box breaks let you rip an entire box and keep it all. You can choose to have the whole thing ripped live with the community or get it shipped sealed – it’s up to you. Whether you’re chasing a grail card or building a PC, personal box breaks give you all the action, your way.

What is a card break?
A card break is when we open sealed sports card boxes live and split the cards between participants. Instead of buying an entire box yourself, you buy a spot in a break for a shot at landing big hits at a fraction of the cost.
When do you broadcast your breaks?
Our live breaks happen every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 9 PM EST on the Elite Cards Toronto Instagram page.
How do random and PYT breaks work?
In a Pick Your Team (PYT) break, you choose a specific team before the break starts, and every card pulled for that team is yours. Some teams cost more based on demand and potential hits.
In a Random Team break, everyone pays the same price, and teams are assigned randomly before the break begins. It’s a fair, fun way to get in on a break without worrying about team pricing.
If I get a personal box, do I have to rip everything live?
It’s your call. You can choose to have your box ripped live on Instagram and watch with our community or have it shipped to you sealed.Â
Do you offer grading services for big hits?
Yes! We handle PSA submissions for $32.50 + tax per card for cards valued under $650 CAD. Price includes shipping, cleaning, insurance, and semi-rigid holders, with an estimated 60-90-day return.

We post highlights from our breaks in our Instagram reels soon after they air, so you can catch up on all the biggest hits anytime you want!
