Welcome to Elitecardstoronto! We want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the condition of the trading cards you're interested in purchasing. Our cards are categorized into the following conditions:

Singles:

Near Mint (NM)

  • Description: Near Mint cards are in almost perfect condition. They may have minimal wear OR very slight imperfections that are visible only upon close inspection. 
  • Characteristics:
    • No major visible damage.
    • Clean corners and edges.
    • Bright and vivid colours.
    • Smooth surface with minimal imperfections.
    • No scratching on holo-foil/surface of the card
  • What to Expect: These cards are as close to brand new as you can get without being sealed in a pack. They're perfect for collectors who want pristine cards.

Lightly Played (LP)

  • Description: Lightly Played cards have some visible wear, but they are still in good condition overall. They may have minor scratches, small dings, or edge wear.
  • Characteristics:
    • Minor wear on corners and edges.
    • Slight surface imperfections.
    • Colors may be slightly faded.
    • Small scratches or dings may be present.
  • What to Expect: LP cards are ideal for players who want to use their cards in decks or collectors who are less concerned about pristine conditions.

Moderately Played (MP)

  • Description: Moderately Played cards show noticeable wear and may have more significant imperfections. They can include creases, bends, and moderate playwear.
  • Characteristics:
    • Obvious wear on corners and edges.
    • Creases, bends, or folds may be present.
    • Moderate surface wear and scratches.
    • Colors may be faded or slightly discolored.
  • What to Expect: MP cards are suitable for budget-conscious players who prioritize gameplay over card condition or collectors seeking cards at a lower price point.

Heavily Played (HP)

  • Description: Heavily Played cards have extensive wear and may have significant damage. These cards are often well-loved, with noticeable creases, bends, or even tears.
  • Characteristics:
    • Extensive wear on corners and edges.
    • Creases, bends, or tears are common.
    • Heavy surface wear and noticeable scratches.
    • Colors may be faded or significantly discolored.
  • What to Expect: HP cards are typically the most affordable option and are suitable for players who want functional cards for gameplay but are less concerned about aesthetics.

Sealed Product:

At Elite, we want to provide transparency about the condition of our sealed products as they may exhibit minor imperfections due to the shipping process. These imperfections may include, but are not limited to:

  • Wrap Damage: This could involve small holes or tears in the plastic wrap.
  • Box Wear: Slight dents or creases on the outer box.
  • Wrap Tears: Parts of the wrap that may be partially torn.

Please be aware that while we carefully inspect all our products to ensure the contents are unaffected, we cannot guarantee that the sealed product you receive will be completely free of these issues.
